Original created for the Olympics in Munich, 1936, This lens survived for more then 50 years.
This is the ZEBRA model due the design of new barrels. Was designed for medium format like Pentacon Six.
This lens only has 7 blades. Results are quite impressive with lovely colours
I'm shooting on hand with my D800 using a specific adapteur .

A 50mm f /0.95 is not very comun.and when the brand is Angenieux the heart starts to beat stronger. I had the opportunity to test it in a Cmount version under my old Lumix G1.
It was impossible to mount it and have infinity focus.
So I reduce to the minimum the thikness of my adapter

Then a small walk with my daughter
into the park was required
Not easy to work at f/0.95.

An amazing lens that give you big sensations. Not very discreet but with a incredible performence.
These pictures where took in Rio Douro (Freixo), Porto in Portugal.

Russian Helios 44M- 4 2/58

2015/04/13 Some cheap lens can be funny to explore and results are quite amazing. This weekend I used a very comun Helios-44M-4 a 2/58 that cost me less then 5€. I get the camera Zenit 11 included , in working condition.
