Found today this very comun Polaroid 636 Close Up  from 1996.

Normally O should not  buy it but this one was in his collector metal box from Polaroid

SFOMAX produced by SFOAM ( Société Française d'Optique Mécanique ) -1949

SFOMAX is  a sub miniature camera  made in France, produced by 

SFOAM ( Société Française d'Optique Mécanique )

Original military models were transformed to the civil market

Arrived to the public around 1949, just after the 2nd WW, was official commercialized till 1955

Build in aluminium  It’s a rangefinder focus, allowing the possibility to match 2 pictures

Lens SFOMAR  30mm /3.5, including the possibility to slide a yellow filter for mountain photos

Shutter speeds from 1/30 until 1/400

It was prepared to take 20 photos in a format 14x23mm on un-perforated 16mm film.

Serial number : B 30

Voigtlander Prominent 6x9 from 1932.

This was the 1^st rangefinder from Voigtlander in the year of 1932.

Probably the folding the best equipped of the market.

Uses 120mm film  & results in a 6x9cm image

Possibility to use a mask to reduce to 4.5x6cm image.

Rangefinder synchronized with folding system.

Self-erecting opening system door.

Equipped with extinction meter.

Blériot XI & Louis Charles Joseph Blériot (1872 – 1936 )

Interesting positive glass view in a 10x8cm format.

Found this weekend in Cestas. For sure this plane, the Bleriot XI was one of the most famous in 1909.

It was the first plane to cross the English Chanel  (La Manche) in 25^th July of 1909. His pilot, engineer and constructer  became one of the most famous personalities at those times. He won a 1000£ prize offered by the Daily mail newspaper.

I like to imagine that in this photo,  Blériot was piloting the famous Bleriot XI.

Lately, the name “Blériot”” and his company “Recherches Aeronautiques Louis Blériot “ became a reference in the aeronautics
