On April 17, 1912, 11.45 , Paris experienced a rare hybrid solar eclipse, transitioning from annular to total and back. This was the first total solar eclipse of the 20th century visible in France, captivating the public and inspiring scientific efforts like the Globule balloon launch by the Paris Observatory
